ScoutLink FMP Community Standards

The Complete Football Management Platform — Code of Conduct & Safeguarding

Effective Date: July 30, 2026 | Australia & United Kingdom Edition

1. Mission & Core Principles

ScoutLink FMP is dedicated to providing a secure, transparent, and professional environment for Players, Accredited Coaches, Clubs, and Guardians across Australia and the United Kingdom.

Respect & Inclusion

Dignified treatment for all participants regardless of background, gender, race, or skill level.

Child Safeguarding

Uncompromising protection of youth athletes under 18 years of age.

2. Respectful Communication

All direct messages, trial evaluations, and recruitment communications must remain constructive and civil. Hate speech, harassment, sexual comments, threats, profanity, and personal abuse are strictly prohibited.

3. Anti-Bullying & Child Safeguarding

  • Guardian Oversight: Minor accounts (under 18) must be linked to a verified Guardian with full access to chat history, blocked messages, and safety alerts.
  • Pre-Send Safety Moderation: Automated filters intercept and block inappropriate messaging targeting minors.
  • Zero Tolerance: Requesting unmonitored off-platform contact with minors triggers an immediate permanent ban and legal escalation.

4. Coach Conduct Expectations

Coaches must hold genuine UEFA/FA/FFA licenses, maintain active Working With Children Checks (WWCC / DBS), deliver fair trial evaluations, and uphold confidentiality regarding private scouting notes.

5. Player Conduct Expectations

Players agree to maintain truthful profile details (age, positions, height), exhibit sportsmanship at trial events, and honor attendance commitments.

6. Guardian Conduct Expectations

Guardians agree to maintain active oversight of their minor's profile, respond promptly to consent requests, and foster a positive sports development environment.

7. Club & Recruiter Responsibilities

Clubs must host trials and post vacancies transparently in accordance with league guidelines (NPL / UK Steps 1–7), ensuring fair check-ins, bib numbers, and scoring.
